Free TWR-aligned novel study writing templates for Years 3–8. Six reusable activities that work with any novel, each with a teacher guide, modelled example and blank student template. The six activities: Key Vocabulary, Summary Sentence, Because / But / So, Sentences ↔ Notes, Single Paragraph Outline, and Paragraph + Revision. Each teacher guide includes differentiation for below-level, at-level and above-level students, and the modelled examples use Blueback by Tim Winton, so you can see exactly what the expected standard looks like. You don’t need a different worksheet for every book. Pick any novel, add your own questions to the templates and teach.
