By Mrs. Agusta Teaching Resources

Beehive counting mats 1–10 for preschool and kindergarten! This hands-on math center helps students practice number recognition, counting, one-to-one correspondence, quantity building, and numeral matching with a sunny beehive and busy bees. Students count the honeycombs at the bottom of each mat and place the matching number of bees in the hive. They can also use the numbered beehive mats to build quantities, or match numbered bees to the beehive with the same numeral. With several activity options, it works for differentiated learning and repeated practice. Start beginning learners with 1–5 and move to 1–10 as their confidence grows.
