Halloween Internet Safety Activity

By Radoune Studio

Spooky Inbox drops students into Sam's inbox for one Halloween week: eight real-looking messages - a free VR game, a candy-map RSVP text, a $1.99 prize shipping notice - each with three choices, and after every answer they see what the scammer does next. One message is a genuinely safe school email, so they practise calibration instead of paranoia. Grades 5-8, one class period. Includes the playable web app (live safety score, auto-save, PIN resume, teacher dashboard that writes one row per student into Google Sheets), a printable worksheet and answer key with the teaching script for zero-device rooms, and a 5-minute quick-start. No logins, no accounts.
