Influencers Culture Lesson
By Graphene - Digital Life Lessons

This influencers culture lesson helps grades 7–12 students explore sponsored content, influencer marketing, authenticity, disclosure rules, online advertising, media literacy, digital citizenship, and social media business models. Many students follow influencers, creators, streamers, athletes, or lifestyle accounts every day, but they may not always notice when personal content becomes advertising. This is a low-prep, structured discussion lesson designed to help students think clearly, not tell them what to think. It gives teachers a practical way to discuss influencer culture, advertising, trust, authenticity, and audience responsibility in a way that connects directly to the content students already consume.
