A free week of Year 4 bell ringers with editing, vocabulary, partner reading, discussion and 10-minute free writing. Supports the Australian Curriculum v9, New Zealand Curriculum, US Common Core and UK National Curriculum. Every day has four short activities: Fix It!, Word of the Day, Read It, Discuss It, and Free Writing. Students read a different text type each day (a story about a magpie “eating sunshine”, a backyard food chain recount, a persuasive text about keeping pet cats at home, an ocean food chains fact text and a forest night description), and the free writing matches it. Includes 5 daily warm-ups, a How to use guide and a Fix It! answer key. 15 pages to print or project.
