Year 5 English daily reviews, Set 3: Word Building. Five weeks of daily practice aligned to the Australian Curriculum v9, US Common Core and the UK National Curriculum. Students work on the prefixes inter-, trans-, auto- and circum-, the verb suffixes -ate, -ise and -ify, the adjective suffixes -able and -ible, and Greek and Latin roots, one skill a week, with Week 5 revising all four. The same calm routine every day: an explicit lesson with worked examples on Monday, guided and independent practice, an apply day linked to your science or HASS unit, and a Friday revision of the previous week's skill.
