This file contains 24 worksheets (four each for the six stories) for Scott Foresman Reading Street for Grade 1 Unit 5. The stories included are: Tippy Toe Chick Go, Mole and the Baby Bird, Dot and Jabber, Simple Machines, Alexander Graham Bell and Ben Franklin and His First Kite. Also included is the worksheets for the story The Stone Garden in the 2011 version. Each story has the following worksheets: * Making Words: A making words sheet with cut apart letters and an answer key. * Rainbow Words: Students rainbow write their spelling words inside a cloud. (Have students write their spelling word in pencil and then trace over the pencil in three different colors.) * Scrabble Spelling: Students add the value of their spelling words on the scrabble tiles. * Word Search: Students find the 10 spelling words and 2 bonus high frequency words hidden in a word search.
