Thanksgiving Math Card Games: 13 Games for Addition, Subtraction, Time, and More

Playing games helps students practice essential math skills in a fun and engaging way! These low-prep games make math practice easy! Included are the following 13 Math Card Games (take a peek at the preview!): • Time to the Hour • Time to the Half Hour • Addition with Doubles • Addition with Doubles +1 • Addition to 12 • Subtraction from 10 • Subtraction from 12 • Place Value to 50 • Place Value to 120 • Skip Counting by 2's • Skip Counting by 5's • Skip Counting by 10's • Ten Frames Each game comes in full color and a black and white version version. Games can be used separately, or combined to create different games. For example, mix the time to the hour and half hour cards to make a mixed time game. Mix addition and subtraction cards for a mixed game. The number of cards in each game varies (see preview for a breakdown). My suggestion - limit the number of cards used at a time so as not to overwhelm students. Instead, play multiple "rounds" using different cards. Cards are labeled at the bottom so you know which card set they belong to. Play as a memory match game or a War type game.
