Fall counting mats 1–10 for preschool and kindergarten! This hands-on fall math center helps students practice number recognition, counting, one-to-one correspondence, quantity building, and numeral matching with a friendly squirrel and his acorns. Students use the fall leaves at the bottom of each mat as a visual counting area and place the matching number of acorns on the squirrel. They can also use the numbered mats to build quantities, or match numbered acorns to the squirrel with the same numeral. With several activity options, it works for differentiated learning and repeated practice. Start beginning learners with 1–5 and move to 1–10 as their confidence grows.
