Year 3 English daily reviews, Set 4: Vocabulary & Word Meaning. Five weeks of daily practice aligned to the Australian Curriculum v9, US Common Core and the UK National Curriculum. Students work on synonyms, antonyms, shades of meaning (warm, hot or boiling) and using context clues to work out tricky words, always writing a sentence with the new word, one skill a week, with Week 5 revising all four. The same calm routine every day: an explicit lesson with worked examples on Monday, guided and independent practice, an apply day linked to your science or HASS unit, and a Friday revision of the previous week's skill.
