This file contains 32 worksheets I have created (four each for the six stories in the original version of Reading Street plus eight worksheets that work with the two new stories in the new version of Reading Street) plus a direction sheet for Scott Foresman Reading Street for Grade 1 Unit 1. The worksheets I made supplement the stories: An Egg is an Egg, Ruby in Her Own Time, Jan's New Home, Frog and Toad Together, I'm a Caterpillar, Where Are My Animal Friends. 2011 updated stories: A Place to Play, The Class Pet Each story has the following worksheets: * Making Words: A making words sheet with cut apart letters and an answer key. * Rainbow Words: Students rainbow write their spelling words inside a cloud. (Have students write their spelling word in pencil and then trace over the pencil in three different crayons.) * Scrabble Spelling: Students add the value of their spelling words on the scrabble tiles. * Word Search: Students find the 10 spelling words hidden in a word search.
