Cotton Swab Alphabet/Letter Fine Motor Practice Pages for Little Learners
By Mrs. Magee | First Grade Brain

These pages allow students to practice grip, letter formation, upper and lowercase letter recognition, and letter sounds while strengthening fine motor skills. Each letter page includes 4 uppercase and 4 lowercase letters made of small dots. Students will dip cotton swabs (q-tips) into paint or stamp ink and then press the end of the cotton swab onto each dot inside the letter to form the letter. This aids with strengthening their fine motor skills and proper grip which aids with handwriting. At the bottom of each page are pictures that begin with the page focus letter. Words for each picture are included as well. These pages are great for use with small groups, the whole class, or as individual practice in a center. When working with students on these pages, reinforce the letter names and sounds, read the words at the bottom, and point out the beginning letter of each. Suggested Uses: • Use with a small group • Use one-on-one in a homeschool or tutoring situation • Use with RTI or intervention groups • Use as practice in a center ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• How to FOLLOW my store: Be the first to know what's new in my store: Look for the green star next to my store logo and click it to become a follower.
