Year 6 English daily reviews, Set 4: Vocabulary & Word Meaning. Five weeks of daily practice aligned to the Australian Curriculum v9, US Common Core and the UK National Curriculum. Students work on precise and academic vocabulary, formal and informal register, idioms and figurative meaning, and word relationships and analogies, one skill a week, with Week 5 revising all four. The same calm routine every day: an explicit lesson with worked examples on Monday, guided and independent practice, an apply day linked to your science or HASS unit, and a Friday revision of the previous week's skill.
