Students should understand the significance of a terrible day in American history, September 11th, 2001, otherwise known as 9-11. This resource has been designed to help students gain factual knowledge of the events of that day, the heroic efforts of first responders and the U.S. military response. May be used as a standalone mini-lesson or as part of your own curriculum. (Designed for 7th-10th grades)
